We are looking for an intern!

VISUAL CREATIVE (INTERSHIP)

During your internship you’ll be working on our visual branding (online, offline and social). Together with us you’ll develop a strategy for this visual branding and create inspiring content for our mood books, website and social media (instagram, facebook) on a daily basis. You’ll ensure that this content is characteristic to niko niko but also takes the brand to a higher level through creative styling and storytelling. There is room for your own ideas and proposals for projects if this is feasible within time & budget and fits with the objectives of the introductions.

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us 3 to 4 days a week for the period of September/October 2018 - March / April 2019. We do not believe in the standard 9-17 working days, the best ideas pop up at unexpected moments. So you’ll be able to determine your own workplace and hours. Throughout the week we will have regular check-ins and meetings on location in Leiden, where we are located. You will receive an internship allowance.

YOU
You are a student in the field of styling, graphic design and / or concept development. That you have a great sense of form, color, material, typography and the latest trends, speaks for itself. You can work out conceptual ideas into photography, graphics and (potentially) copy, matching the unique style and voice of the brand. You have knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign and you have your own laptop. You speak English fluently and possibly Dutch.

More important, we are especially interested in who you are as a person. You have a mindset that is positive, eager to learn and open-minded. You work proactively and come up with ideas inside and outside of your specialization. You can easily motivate yourself, even though nobody is looking over your shoulder all day, just because you love what you do! You are quality driven and believe that details are not just details, but make a difference between a great and a so-so design.
